This set includes a 6" long slim taper file for precision work, two 8" long mill files in smooth and bastard coarseness measures for different finishes and filing speeds, a 10" long mill file with a bastard cut for the roughest material removal, and a 10" long half-round file with a bastard-cut coarseness.

Nicholson makes good quality files. Can't fine tune, sharpen, align, or otherwise improve on a file after it comes from the factory as may be done with other types of tools, so buying quality up front is important. The vinyl roll up case protects files in shipping, but it is too clingy to use for regular storage. Files are difficult to remove, but I bought the files, not the case. My files are stored in a lined drawer. I needed a few replacements but the individual ones were more expensive than this set.

This is a nice set of files.It brought a smile to my face when I opened the package and pulled out the first one.It was about time I bought a set of quality files, something I should have done 30 years ago.Yes, the ones I bought thru the years from the nation wide inexpensive tool company will still be around and they are still in decent shape but will not be the first ones I will be reaching for.By the way, I noticed the set with handles are the same sizes as this set (wink, wink).I found an inexpensive set of handles elsewhere on Amazon, applying a bit of heat to the pointy end of the files makes adding the plastic handles fit nice and tight. No, my files are not show pieces but I bought them to do work, not to look pretty. I'd be willing to bet this set will work as well as the higher priced set.I would buy this set again if I needed to replace them.Thank you for a great product.Don

I bought these for my husband. He needed them to fix and adjust our go karts. He uses them on all of his filing needs. I would definitely need to buy a handle for them though. High quality metal and have yet to break as our other file sets have.

Bonne qualité, la seule chose est que le manche ne permet pas de mettre des limes de 10 pouce. Déçu, j'ai dû retourner le produit. J'ai acheter une autre marque.
