Build quality is a little lower than it looks in the photos, but seems plenty good for my needs. Switch is very snappy. Screws hold wires (or more ideally, crimped terminals or ferrules) securely.For my application I was connecting the 3-phase output of a VFD to power two different devices (relying on the VFD control panel to reverse the spindle when needed). I connected the motor leads to the appropriate, opposite switched positions (even numbers vs odd numbers), connected the VFD output to the corresponding side for one of the switched positions, and connected jumper wires to the corresponding terminals of the opposite switched position, so the power feeds to either position when switched left or right, but feeds nowhere in the middle position. Works great!If you need to wire this up as a reversing tumbler switch it is capable but the wiring is more complicated. I recommend referring to YouTube tutorials.

Works great for allowing me to select between battery backup (UPS) power and non-backup power on my gas furnace. Feels high quality, easy to install, lots of room inside the box for wiring.

It’s no A-B, but it gets the job done, the box is a little brittle so take care when punching out the holes

I was looking for something better then a 30 amp switch. This rotary switch has it all. Heavy duty, easy to install and quick to install in small places.

Switch worked OK, but just over a year later, the knob broke. Can't seem to find a replacement. Just not built well. Note, it only gets used lightly, and only on weekends (so Very lightly). I now need to find a better unit.

I use this switch to select either 3000 watt generator that I use for off grid battery charging. It works fine as a transfer switch for that purpose.It is solid built and easy to enter the cables and terminate the wires on the screws.
