About this item

  • LEWIS BAG AND MALLET SET: The BIG-SHOT combines the best features of a professional muddler and manual ice crusher into one stylish bar tool. Paired with a heavy duty canvas Lewis bag to absorb excess water, you’ll create the perfect crushed ice. An unbeatable mixology duo.
  • THE BIG SHOT: This unique bar muddler tool measures 13.75 inches in length with a 6 inch circumference and is crafted from strong Canadian hard maple wood. It features a 3 line grip and an ergonomic handle. Free from chemicals and varnish, it boasts a 100% natural mineral oil finish.
  • TRIPLE STITCHED LEWIS BAG: Unlike hand cranked ice crushers or blenders, the Barillio crushed ice bag absorbs excess liquid to prevent it from diluting your cocktails. Each 14 oz 100% cotton canvas bag measures 13.5 x 8.5 inches and is triple stitched for durability.
  • HOW TO USE: The BIG-SHOT's slimline design maximizes ice crushing and muddling efficiency. The ergonomic handle enables single-press muddling, minimizing wrist impact and improving dexterity. Fill the ice crusher bag with ice and strike until you achieve the desired consistency.
  • THE ULTIMATE GIFT: Whether you're searching for birthday or housewarming presents, our timeless bartender accessories are the perfect choice. With a high-quality finish and premium design, these bar tools are essential for any cocktail aficionado.

Works well. Use it regularly. Recommend to put 1-2 washcloths on top of the bag, when to smash the ice. Bag fabric is thick, like duck cloths, but would wear out fairly quick if use regularly.

Got this for a bartender friend who I felt needed a muddler that could also fend off bar patrons that get out of hand lol. He was exceptionally pleased with his new ice crusher muddler bat. Seems like a quality piece although I don't know if he will actually use it for it's intended purpose or just walk around brandishing it.

Great Lewis bag set for those like me that only need to make crushed ice for two or three cocktails at a time. The dual size, dual purpose muddler makes the set cost less than the ones with a maple mallet. If you get bagged ice that’s frozen together the muddler is perfect for breaking up the frozen ice inside the bag without breaking the plastic bag. Having a dual size wooden muddler is also great for muddling in either my stainless shaker, my expensive Movado mixing glass or delicate rocks and Collins cocktail glasses with breaking them. Using a metal muddler I would be worryed about accidentally breaking my glass items.

This thing is huge. Bottom is flat and smooth. Solid maple and heavy, so it muddles well. The canvas bag is sturdy, I use it to crush ice. I do appreciate that the muddler is one piece, made of a natural material, and has a long handle. Lots of control. Because it's maple, it requires more care: hand washing, drying immediately, and occasional conditioning with food-grade oil to keep it from drying out. But I'll have it forever and it does a smashing job (pun intended).

This muddler is so perfect, large enough to get out all the essence from anything you decide to crush under its head 🤪 is that to suggestive? It’s going to get weirder as we go. This thick easy to hold long large wood is just what I wanted to bring out the best in my cocktails 🤦‍♀️ yeah it’s that good.

Perfect for crushing ice. The bat/pallet is sturdy. I use freezer ice and pound it. It’s really easy to use and looks beautiful. I just hang dry after every use. No random threads either. Looks very well-made.

Other than trying to figure out how to store this thing, it's great. I'll probably never have to buy another one ever again.

I put ice in a Ziplock freezer bag, then into the canvas pouch (like we hung outside car radiators in the Arizona desert, back in the day), and smash it. Works perfectly. The wooden club is a good weight and grip for me. Also, I can use it to discourage bad guys from coming into the kitchen.

This has just the mallet and no ice bag and cover as described. Feeling cheated with this buy. Would advise not to go for this.
