Why is a sticker placed over the instructions??? When I pulled the sticker off the instructions came off too. Not a good way to start using the product.

Although it is marketed to the RV crowd, this product is also great for stabilizing, sanitizing, and improving the taste of stored drinking water at home. I use it in my large water storage barrels to keep algae and bacteria from forming. Since using, the barrels smell less stagnant and fresher. I don't recommend drinking the water straight after being treated. However, a good gravity filter seems to remove most of the chemicals and improve the taste. This is a solution for those who are storing emergency water in large quantities and don't want it to turn green and nasty. Read the instructions, however, so you use it properly.

I am very pleased with the drinking water test strips! Our (long term) stored drinking water is confirmed safe each time we test it using this product.

I've been using Purogene for over 5 years in an RV and I will use it forever. No matter what water I'm putting in the holding tank - whether from a 'great' municipal source, or from a more questionable source - I invariably add Purogene. I'll minimally use at the ratio of 1 oz Purogene per 30 gallons of water, and if the water is 'questionable,' I'll double that. The water stays fresh, showers feel awesome, your hair rinses wonderfully, and you feel better knowing your water is safe, and without the use of bleach.
