The RapidPure pod will filter water and eliminate 99.99% of viruses, 99.9999% of bacteria and parasites, and treats water for other potentially harmful elements like protozoa, heavy metals and microplastics. I have a RapidPure Purifier+ water bottle that came with a pod so got this a refill. The purifier pods treat 75 gallons of water, or about 300 fills of a 32 ounce water bottle, so they have a good amount of longevity. I hike a lot, so these purifier systems are good to have when the only source of water is from streams or lakes. It gives you some peace of mind knowing that the water will be safer top drink when you need to. I also keep a bottle with a purifier pod in my car just in case. Sometimes I will forget my water bottle at home when I head out to play soccer at local parks and the only water available is an old rusty and dirty faucet in the parking lot, which I do not trust much. These pods are great to have for added safety and well worth the price when needed.

This is a direct replacement for the filter that comes standard with the RapidPure filtered water bottle. It's good for approximately 75 gallons of water filtration.Water flavor is very good. It does take some effort to draw water through the filter, but that's normal for this type of product. The connector isn't proprietary so you can likely use this filter with other bottles and silicone straws of similar size.

This is the official refill filter cartridge for the RapidPure Purifier+ bottle. It's easy to replace. The cartridge is rated for 200L of water, but the manufacturer recommends replacing after 100L for maximum protection from viral illness.
