Well made and excellent deal for cost. Clamps reed in very well, secure. Nice fit on my mouthpiece and well described in the add. Works better than standard ligature and great price.

Total cambio de sonido con esta abrazadera. La diferencia fue mayor que cuando cambiamos la embocadura

Fits Great on Vandoren 5rv lyre clarinet mouthpiece. Inverted Looks awesome & holds reeds nicely. We also use the legere synthetic reeds at 2.5 these also hold well. Nice upgrade with the Vandoren Mouthpiece. Don't hesitate buy now.Should fit nicely on any Bb clarinet mouthpiece.

My teacher who is outstanding recommended this as one of the more popular ligatures. I have been using the soft, expandable rubber ligature and have gone back to that. The middle one didn't fit my mouthpiece well, and the reeds didn't stay secure with reasonable tightening. Also I got used to just having one screw to tighten which is more efficient for the multiple reed changes I often make.

The ligature is a nice lightweight inverted metal ligature. It holds the reed on by two parallel bars similar to BG duo. I'm using it on Vandoren clarinet mouthpieces and reeds. Some people have reported that it slips on their mouthpiece. I have not had that experience. The ligature has held on the mouthpiece without slippage. If it were to move, I think it could be easily solved by either lightly sanding the inside of the ligature to roughen it it up or put a small amount of paper masking tape under the screws to increase friction between the ligature and mouthpiece. On the negative side, the screws are a little small and need a bit of effort to tighten. Also the screw threads were a little rough and needed some lubricant.Overall, it does the job really nicely and I think the laws of diminishing returns will kick in quickly with ligatures. You will pay more and more for les and less increased benefit.
