I wasn’t sure if this cord was strong enough to replace my broken cocking string on my Barnett crossbow cocking mechanism. I had contacted Barnett, and they recommended this string. I replaced the broken string with this product, and tested it! The new string worked! My Crossbow was rated at 375 ft/sec, I don’t know if this cord will work with high rated Crossbows.

I was told It would cost $60 just for the string when I requested a repair quote. I replaced the crank cord myself and I was able to include a few improvements. First I moved the contact of the cord to the outside rim of the pully. Now the sled no longer grinds against my anti-dry fire lever. Which on my bow, was knocking the lever clean off. Second, I made the cord length to the right length to leave the crank handle where I wanted it to sit after parking the sled.

With my ten point titan it uses a 52 inch acudraw string, With this product which is the same company that ten point buys there acudraw strings from. And you can make at least 4

Used this sting to replace the crack cocking string on a Barnett 175lb crossbow. Been working great and seems to be a higher quality than Barnett’s. I do recommend this string.

This cord is only one third the thickness of my original Excalibur string . It pulls through the holes in the handles when the knots are tied. It may be good for other brands though.
