A simple solution to add lighting where there’s no existing wiring. You can attach these practically anywhere and have them operating in minutes. We’ve been using this Mr. Beams model (as well as other models) for many years and it’s the only brand we use now. We have not had a single failure or issue such as corroded batteries, and we recently purchased additional ones for a new outbuilding. It’s designed to last years, unlike many products nowadays with the market flooded with low quality Chinese imitations/look-a-likes priced a few dollars less, but in the end don’t last or perform as promised.This particular model has many uses indoors and out. Being battery-operated, it’s not designed to provide flood-like illumination, but does provide sufficient lighting for most needs. The lights are designed to stay on for 20 seconds after it detects movement, and will stay on longer if it continues to detect movement. Vehicles and Animals will also trigger the lights. It's not highly sensitive to things like moving tree branches, unless they are too close. I would estimate the color/temperature of the LED lights to be around 4,000 Kelvin--not yellow but not bluish or “daylight” either.It comes ready to use out of the box; just add batteries. Other than that, there are no replaceable parts or adjustments other than the 2 articulating lights. It's designed for mounting on a vertical surface, and for outdoor use preferably under an eave, though it’s not necessary. It comes w/3 GP screws to attach the mounting plate. I use sheet metal screws or wood screws depending on where they're mounted. Writing this review after owning this light for a two months. After the first week I was ready to take the light down and return it. The night I grabbed my ladder to take it down it finally started working correctly. Mounted the light on the house to have motion around garage when cars enter and exit the driveway. Light works as advertised, picks up cars in the driveway, driving by the house and foot traffic on sidewalk. Highly recommend this light, great option, especially if you don’t want to hardwire a motion light!

I bought these to light up the back stairs that lead up to our apartment from the parking lot in the alley. The landlord believes maintenance is optional and the security lamp for the parking lot has never worked. Problematic. These are easy to install and work exactly as advertised: they do a great job of lighting up the space once the sensor detects movement. The only issue is the 4 D-cell batteries: they run down pretty quickly in a high-traffic area - or if the temperature plummets. I've switched to rechargeable D-cells, which are not cheap but work well.

Purchased for outdoor lighting on the side of our house, where sunlight is limited. The light functions as intended and does not depend on solar energy. Simply insert batteries, and motion sensors activate when necessary for approximately a year. The construction quality is exceptional, and the motion sensor operates without any malfunctions.

I love the beams lights. I think I have 4 now out in the back yard. Mostly the single bulb models. This one with 2 lights is great. They're all bright and the batteries last longer then it seems. Great lights

I've used several different products from this company (Mr Beams), and they have all worked really well. I've used them at my last two homes and they stand the test of time really well. Even in a cold New England environment. The battery life is crazy good, and the motion detection is solid. Super easy to install and position. I don't wrote a ton of reviews but these just work, so I feel like I should!

Easy to fit no set up required apart from setting angle of light.

Light output is not that bright but enough to cover an area of about 6 feet. But 1 of the light acts wonky when a fresh set of batteries was installed. Keeps turning on and off even when there's no activity which will drain the battery faster

Der Beams Strahler ist sehr hell und reagiert auch schon wenn man in die Nähe des Strahlers kommt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Strahler. Ich hatte zuvor einige andere ausprobiert, entweder gingen sie nicht oder waren dunkel.

Easy to install. Bright. Recommended for sure.

Wireless, powerful enough for additional lighting in my carport. Don’t expect floodlighting. Easy install, waiting to see how long a set of batteries lasts- highly recommend esp. if on flash sale.
