The truck comes from Ford with T-55 Torx bolts mounting the bed to the frame.after 20+ years these bolts were very resistant to being removed so before reinstallation I decided to buy new bolts. (there are kit's available from Ford for almost 4 times the cost if you want OEM)

After doing the Fuel pump assembly on my 02’ B2300 I managed to snap 3 of the 6 bolts holding the bed to the frame after they became one with the J-Nut. I purchased this kit to replace the bolts, everything has a good weight to it and it comes with washers & the J nuts needed for the replacement. I have no complaints.

I recently lifted the bed on my '97 Ranger to replace the gas tank fill-tube. 2 of the 6 OEM bolts broke... and the local parts store offered to get me a set for just over $100. For a bit over $25, I got these. But they're different thread size than OEM, so you have to keep OEM bolts & J-clips together, and these aftermarket ones together. And then the heads of the bolts have different socket shapes... Torx vs Allen.[I didn't want to completely remove the box, so I couldn't replace all the bolts & clips.]But, bottom line, they did work to replace the 2 broken bolts/clips. And were inexpensive.

I work in Construction, but was in an accident and couldnt use these right away so missed my return window. This week end I planned to put my truck back together so I get out these bolts to test them out. Glad I did, 6 out of 6 bolts do not work. Put the nut in a vise, and even with a 2' long breaker bar, unable to start a single bolt. Actually I was able to get one started, but now I cant get it off. 100% total waste of money. Theyre also grade 5 metal, and look like theyll rust super fast.Dont waste your money.

Changed the fuel pump on my 2008 ranger, replaced the bed bolts while I had it off.
