I just started to learn how to play the guitar and honestly I bought these because they are meant for beginners and actually work very well. I have issues with the mini guitar I have so when I first put them on, they sound amazing, the strings are very strong, especially since I put them in wrong at first and they kept losing and I would retighten them over and over and strings still have not broke. Great for beginners who are strong handed.

The guitar strings are easy to install (easier than my adult acoustic guitar). So far I think the durability is great because my grandson (who is 6) has not broken the string yet.

I bought these for a small-scale kid guitar (in all fairness, this is a First Act toy guitar); however, it seems if I tune to the first (low) octave which can actually hold a key, the strings are too slack and sound horrible. If I try to tune to the next octave up, the strings won't physically stretch that far. In fact, the tuning peg was about a half note shy of being in tune and wouldn't physically turn that much due to such high tension. I was afraid a string was going to snap. I did some research and apparently I need high-tension strings, and these aren't that. That being said, they seem pretty decent for the price, and I love the color coordination. I'll probably use them as backup to my own guitar and find something else for the kid. That being said, they seem decent otherwise.

This was my first guitar, it's been put up in a box from shed to shed since I was about 7 or 8.My daughter and I came across it recently and she has been interested in my bigger guitar, so I got these strings for her to learn and because they were a litter thicker for her fingers (she's 5) and I popped out the 3 strings that were originally left and she won't stop playing!All in all for me, this product is perfect.It will bring my daughter years of memories to come for just a few dollars :)

These are almost four star just because of the price. That said, they are VERY light strings and could easily be mistaken for electric guitar strings (the listing says they're for acoustic). The colors are a little drab compared to some Mr Neon strings, but they're also a good deal less expensive. I can't attest to how well the color stays on as I decided not to use them (they're too light for my taste), but I may give them a go after my current set gives out. I'm not disappointed, but I'm a long ways from impressed. Final thoughts: they're good enough to use, especially for the price.

Some colored strings were dead. Not one string was larger than .039 when it states a .047 string would be included in each set. Other string sizes missing. I can't believe Amazon would sell such Garbage.

I put the colored ones on my daughter's guitar because she liked them. I looked all over to see if I could find a teaching book that used colored notes to match the strings but I could not find one anywhere.
