I've been helping some family to replace an old computer and set up new tech in their home. I needed this type cable to connect a monitor with a VGA port to a new computer, through the HDMI connection on a USB-C Hub. After doing a lot of comparison shopping and looking at reviews, price, and build materials, I chose this gold-plated HDMI to VGA cable from Benfei. It shipped out to my family's address and arrived very quickly! In fact, given travel concerns during the pandemic, it was able to arrive to them a full two months before I got there!When first setting up the system, everything seemed great. The cable was decently packaged, felt very solidly constructed, and connected easily. More importantly, it worked. But after just about a week of very light / intermittent use, it started to fail. In less than two weeks, it was a complete dud. No reliable picture transfer whatsoever ... just static garble or a dead screen. We tested each piece of hardware and each connection, and finally determined that it was this brand new cable. Frustrating for the family and disappointing for me!But here's the thing ... when I reached out to Benefi to ask about their replacement / return / refund policy, they responded within just a matter of HOURS. And despite their being a huge time difference between us, they even apologized that it took them THAT long to reply. So very responsive! The response? Immediate apology for the situation and reassurance that my investment in them was protected. Full replacement and an extended 2-year warranty! They went out of their way to promise that if there's anything else I need, they'd work with me to fix it. Period. Utterly amazing. I confirmed the shipping info (again, to my family) and they wrote back that it was out the door with 2-day shipping. This ALL happened -- from my first letter to the package leaving their hands -- in less than 24 hours!! And the package that was supposed to be shipped 2-day mail arrived ... THE VERY NEXT DAY!All of this is to say that they made an amazingly good impression. I got genuine, human help and felt very good about my choice to buy from them. I don't remember the last time I found a company that stands behind its product so strongly.Also, for what it's worth (and it should be worth a lot), the replacement cable has been performing flawlessly for several weeks now, with a solid amount of use! I highly recommend.

This adapter that's exactly what I needed to hook up an old Sanyo TV to my new HP Envy desktop. I had the Sanyo hooked on the HDMI but it kept over scanning when I hooked up the HDMI to VGA adapter then it worked perfect! Very happy with this product and very fast shipping

VGA and SVGA are analog signals. HDMI is digital. If you are buying this cable you’re probably upgrading a monitor and have a VGA/SVGA output from your PC.You’ll most likely need a powered dongle, [VGA/SVGA] analog to digital converter.

I researched but it kinda of fit the Thinkpad VGA port but the Asus monitor said no signal. The same monitor worked with a newer Microsoft laptop. I had no instructions to follow do it a return.

Para mí, perfecto. Tengo una pantalla con conexión VGA, pero mi portátil no tiene entrada VGA sino HDMI. Funciona a la perfección, ahora tengo doble pantalla o una más grande, dependiendo de la configuración de portátil.
