This product is amazing. I have one of the GE Profile Refrigerators that constantly has moisture inside. Design issue that GE will not fix. Things wilt in two days and there is always a smell. In fact there will be mold on the walls due to refrigerator design. Many folks have the problem, just look it up. Anyway prior to purchasing a new refrigerator I decided to try this product. It is amazing, things stay fresh for weeks, no more moisture or mold on the walls. Always a fresh smell inside. I will never have a refrigerator without one. After talking to a refrigerator repair person they told me it is the energy efficient design and it is a poor design which will cause the problem if the refrigerator has more than a few items in it.Everyone should have one of these. I kept a cut watermelon from the 4th of July until the 17th and it was still fresh. Only cling wrap on the top. I couldn't believe it but the wartermellon was still great. Love it

This is one of a few ozone generators we purchased to protect against coronavirus.This one (for the fridge) was primarily to protect against infectious disease that might be attached to fresh foods that we can't exactly wash with bleach or sanitizing wipes.The fact that everything that is fungible and exposed to air in the fridge started to last FOREVER after installing this device was an unintended result, but it does do exactly what it claims to.We've had grapes that usually last a week, two at the most, last perfectly well without mold or discoloration for more than a month in the fridge with this running. Ginger, celery, tomatoes - same thing.This works so well it almost makes you wonder, but the food tastes just as if it were fresh (although maybe just a touch dry-ish on the surface from being exposed in the fridge for the better part of a month).CAVEAT: This thing takes 4 D cells to work, and don't even think about trying to run it on anything less than alkaline batteries because if you do, you'll be replacing batteries every few days. Alkalines last a lot longer (like around a month) so that's the (only) way to go with this device.

Read update: scroll downI will review this again and update once I get one that actually works but the one I got was not operational. It had a loose connection in it probably from the poor shipping packaging. It was not packaged well inside a bigger box. But if that was not bad enough I chatted on text with an Amazon Tech making me test this broken thing for everything A to Z for 30 minutes only for them to tell me I was right....it doesn’t work. Then the Amazon Tech told me to email the seller for a new one because she couldn’t do it. Great. A waste of 30 minutes so far. Then I wrote the email link she gave me and here I am 3 days later with zero response. So then I figured I best just get my money back so now I have to spend another hour taking this item to ship back because the seller would not respond and the Amazon Tech said her hands were tied so to speak. Now with all that said, I have read a lot about this item. After reading it the science behind it is solid but you must limit its use to the refrigerator for safety because it is not good to have this running in your rooms so only use it in the fridge and it will be perfectly safe and very effective according to the science behind it.For the reasons above I can only give it a 1 star at this time because quality control is needed on this one, but once I get a unit that actually works I will update this review.UPDATE 2-28-20I finally got a new one of these and it works so I put it in the fridge and it operates as the manual said it would BUT this unit produces the cleaning version of Ozone. Yes, it will sanitize the fridge and freezer at the 50ppm it produces in the sealed sections but once you OPEN the door to the fridge you will INHALE that Ozone while loading or unloading the fridge. THAT is NOT healthy for you or me.HOWEVER, I give it 4 stars because of how I am going to use it safely. Nothing cleans a fridge better than ozone because generally air is usually shared with the freezer. So, a few times a month I will put this in the fridge overnight while nobody is opening the fridge to let it sanitize and then remove it in the morning and take the batteries out so I put it back in it’s box to store until the next sanitizing date I choose. For this particular use only I would consider it safe to use and earns 4 starts. But I would never use it 24/7 as advertised on the box because every time you opened the fridge or freezer you would inhale a blast of ozone which is not a good thing. You can clean the inside messes spilled in your fridge and then use this overnight only to sanitize and you will have the most sanitary fridge start up for the week! Use this safely like this and it’s 4 stars. I left one star off because I thought the use advertising was wrong on this product and should be modified to what I suggest above.

So far, so good. Even though the product title of this review says that it's the 2018 model, I am sure that I got the 2017 model (the graphics are different). Am very enthusiastic and will update this review when more time has gone by. I just installed it in our fridge last night — we have had problems from quick spoilage of F&V to excessive water and temperature fluctuations in our fridge. I am hoping for some relief! No detectable O3 smell from the device as noted in some of the negative product reviews. If all this does is cure my moisture problem and improve the fridge smell, I will be happy...extended food life will be a plus!!

So far, my best 2018 purchase definitely worth the money, we make HUGE economy with that, the product really work and we pass from 2-3 days on berry to a week. Keep well also ; cut apple for brownish, cut lemon from mold, green and keep fresh all vegy in the refrigerator

I bought this product to further maintain the freshness of the items in my fridge. It runs on 4 D cells which last upwards of 3 months. Once activated it produces ozone in the fridge to reduce overall spoilage of produce and other items like cheese. It takes up a small footprint and goes about it's work quietly. I'm not an Amazon bot, this review is real. I gave it 4 stars because it requires batteries and isn't rechargeable.

This is a great product, SO much better than baking soda in the fridge. Keeps the fridge smelling fresh, even if produce of turning bad. Well worth the money, we have two fridges and have one for each fridge, I'd never go without it now.

It works, arrived quickly. So far it does seem to do what it promises. I find the item is over priced relative to what it sells for in the US. At the higher price it may be hard to justify this purchase. Will have to see how it performs long term and how long the 4 D batteries last.
