This is a great product. I've had this for about 5 years and use it every night and keep it on all night. I love being warm and this is by far, better than an electric blanket. The heat is under you, not over you. The first time my control showed an "E" and it stopped heating I couldn't figure out what happedend. After I checked it out, my plug at the bottom of the pad had slightly come apart so I just pushed it together. My feet sometimes must push it apart. I have washed this pad several times and it still heats like the first night. Overall I think this is just a great product and I'm buying one for my daughter and her husband - they live in the mountains in Colorado.

Had this exact mattress pad for 8 years, worked great. You put it on high for 30 minutes before bed and it would be toasty warm. Unfortunately the cord got pinch in the closet door and so I had to buy a new one. Loved the last one so much I bought the same one but unfortunately this one doesn't work very well. You could put it on high for 2 hours and the bed is lukewarm at best.

It makes getting into bed on a chilly night so cozy. My only complaint is that it seems to heat unevenly - there are hotspots and some spots that don't seem to get much heat at all. This is my first time using a heated mattress pad and I like it better than an electric blanket. I don't notice the wires, though you can tell they're there if you pay attention. I tend to turn it up high about 20 minutes before going to bed, then turn it down or off later. I dont' really have a problem with being cold, I just like the cozy feeling of getting into a warm bed on a cold night, and it delivers on that.

What's not to like? It's a great product!! I've the past 12 years, this is now my third, and the older ones I use for my dogs beds, and they are still working great too!! So easy to wash, and dry.

First, let me say I've had a king-sized Biddeford electric blanket for ~15 years; I LOVE it and it still works great (5 stars!). My wife rarely uses the electric blanket and decided she didn't want it on the bed anymore. Since it's a dual-zone king, that meant my side was removed too. I decided to try this heated mattress pad as a solution for losing my much-loved electric blanket.Pros - it uses the exact same controller that I had before (10 levels, auto-shutoff). It does an adequate job of de-chilling a cold bed if you start it before you lay down. Well made; good construction. Nice packaging.Cons - the base material that the wires are sewn into does not stretch very much which changes the feel of the mattress. You can feel it bunch & rumple, sort of like laying on that paper sheet at the doctor's office examination table. I can definitely feel the wires, and I have a thin mattress protector over the top. It's not horrible; I could get used to the wires and rumpling. The electric plug attachment is actually on the TOP of the mattress pad, at the bottom left corner (laying down, looking up). The plug is definitely noticeable if your foot hits it. I tried installing it swapped head & foot, so the plug was under my pillow (so I didn't notice the plug), but the foot area has more heating coils, so you have a hot back & cool feet if you do that. I really dislike the plug position and it is the size of one of those Bluetooth earbuds charging cases. I've given it a week and I'm not in love with this solution.My biggest issue is that I don't care for laying on top, instead of under the heating. We have a large comforter over our bed with does a decent job of trapping warmth. Even with the heating pad turned up enough to make my back overly warm, my arms are still cool. I have elbow tendonitis and I wake up with joint stiffness using the heating mattress pad. Basically, it's like being warmed in a skillet, instead of an oven. I guess I'll order a twin heating blanket to lay under and just have it on my side of the bed.

Everyone needs one! My in laws bought one and loved it so much that they bought one for me and my husband as a homewarming gift. We loved ours so much we bought one for our guest room. My grandparents loved the one in our guest room so much they bought one for all 4 bedrooms in their home and gave some out as Christmas gifts. These bed warmers will make your bed so cozy that you will never want to leave. It has 10 settings. Level 2 is usually a pretty good place to start 10 feels like you are laying on a flat top grill. It works great and is worth every penny.
