They are very much a good solid item that you can trust to keep your object together. They are very much a good quality clasp that will do it's job. I changed out the clamp-type fasteners on suspenders. These work much better!

I bought it to attach a puppy crate to a playpen. It will not hold them together, it will open up. Better with a traditional lobster clasp.
