As with any pool, identifying the problem and cause is half the battle. The pool store were no help. After alot of research, I identified the issue and it was scale build up and metal in the water. Last year my chemistry got way out of whack and it all happened at once. I ran out of time and just had to close the pool. I didnt get a before pic, sorry, but it was a brown swamp before. You can still see what looks brown, but before the treatment what you could see on the walls was a redish brown. The only white was above the water line. I will let this go for the full 48 hrs, and may have to do a second treatment.

I had pretty bad calcium build up on the blue decorative tile of our pool. I looked up how to removed it and people were using tapping hammers to know of the big stuff. They would also use a rough 3M scour wheel to with a drill. I tried both. The hammer was time consuming and wheel would leave light scrapes in the tile. I finally was referred to this product by our pool cleaner. Regardless of me not being super regular on the use, this stuff eats away the calcium and has helped keep the unsightly white ring away. I have since referred my neighbor to it also.

I love this stuff. Keeps my filters doing their job. Just a little too pricy.

After chatting via emails with this company's customer service I ordered 4 quarts, raised my water 1 inch higher than existing white line of deposit. Turned pump on manual and dumped 1 1/2 quarts into 18,000 gal pool (they said 2 quarts per 20,000 gal.). Within 20 hours the line was gone from tile except for the grout lines between the tile and in spa what I couldn't raise because of waterfall outflow and some natural flagstone. After 38 to 42 hours I entered the pool and scrubbed the grout line deposits with a steel brush and all came off fairly easy. Spa tile was extremely easy as was grout but flagstone I'm going to have to use another of their products. They now have a life-long Las Vegas customer!

Bought two bottles, did not work at all! Used as directed. Waste of money. Off the the pool supply which I should have done in the first place. I’m learning more and more on Amazon to question the reviews, use to be able to rely on reviews, a lot seem bogus.

I'm very happy with my results on a gunite pool surface. Took out the yellow, removed oak leaf stains and even removed a ring on bottom from a coin that had been left in the pool for a few weeks. I gave 5 stars because delivery was swift and how much better it worked than what the pool guy said they had already used before on my pool flooring & sides. Bio-Dex is by far better than the "purple stuff"I will be buying more every spring and summers end.

I purchased 3 quarts and have only used 1 so far. I had my pool water raised 2†prior to adding this to the water. I didn’t try to scrub the calcium line for 2 weeks (I was waiting for my heat pump to be installed); ironically, when I finally got in the pool, I didn’t have my scrub brush but realized that this product worked so well that I could literally rub the thick calcium off with my THUMB! I went around the entire pool (my thumb is kind of raw, lol), but this stuff actually WORKS! No more paying for bead-blasting!
