Love how versatile these slings are for extending cams, building anchors, indirect tying into anchors and extending rappels. But advise against using one as an autoblock as my buddy did (sigh… at least he was safe) or it will destroy the sling.I don’t usually double up the slings as pictured but rather keep it with one carabiner over my shoulder opposite and on top of trad gear. I only double up for sport climbing when I want to extend the bolts - typically on an overhang or if i’m adding a nifty extended directional for a top rope.I’ve back clipped before sport climbing and just threw one of these babies on the bolt opposite and opposed for a sense of security.
