It works as intended. Not as bright as I thought it was going to be. But since it’s got the plastic base and isn’t the full glass bulb it doesn’t get as hot so that’s nice. (Use for charging glow in the dark stars in child’s bedroom)

Bought for a night with the grands. They like light while they sleep. It worked for them! Too bright for me, though. I caught up on sleep after they left. :)

I was always curious about having these type of lights in my room so i gave these a try. They are really bright and inexpensive. Dont know the longetivity yet but as far as brightness, they are great!!

Edit:Works great, however the limited edition Displate I bought this light for, does not work with the light. #bigsad Perhaps because I got the 10w option?Whites, pinks, oranges seem to pop really well with this light.Thanks.

The package shows a dark bulb, just what I’d expect for a black light. The actual bulb though is clear and there is way too much ambient light. The room should feel dark with things magically glowing. Things do glow but the room is pretty well lit up so the effect is very muted. I’m sending them back.

We wanted a black light to light up the glow stairs in our kids room. Our kids are rough on things and this light has been going strong for a month now. It has been dropped, taken apart and continues to work.
