PURCHASED THIS OUTDOOR CAMERA SO I COULD SEE WHAT NIGHTTIME ANIMAL WAS TEARING UP MY YARD. IT WAS EASY TO SET UP AND USE. I WAS ABLE TO SEE THE ANIMAL (RACCOON) AND AM NOW WORKING ON WAYS TO KEEP IT OUT OF MY YARD.

I love all the features. Good size. Nice picture. Only issue is seems to go "offline" randomly and no way to reset it unless physically got to camera and unplug. Say "no connection, switch wifi". Also have few indoor. They work fine. Maybe there's something I need to do. But good for the price.

Overall a very good camera as far as video quality. The wide angle lens gives a great overall view of the front of the house and the driveway. However, any motion whatsoever in the field activates the alert, even shadows and bright lights so it is not IR. Admittedly the device setup page clearly states that shadows and headlights, etc can trigger motion alerts.UPDATE: after getting a replacement camera the inactivity zones work well.For the money overall a good camera. I would rate it higher if it used IR motion.

Mounted this camera to watch the remodeling of the golf course where we live during the winter months. There is a setting for mounting the camera up side down. Works great, has lots of new features including a light. Super value for such a high quality camera.

**UPDATE** Feb. 6, 2025I bought 3 cameras and after 42 days, warranty is 30 days, one of my cameras started droping off line a week ago, now it won't come back at all. I've tried to find trouble shooting procedures but there aren't any. I have dropped my rating from 4☆'s to 2☆'s because of this problem.I thought I was going to get continuous recording but it only records if there is movement. I would also like to be able to login and see my cameras on my laptop but I haven't found a way to do that.
