This is not a set of transfers punches, the box says it is but not. There is only one size in the box, not two like on the picture or what's printed on their packaging.

So the idea with this is that you'd place it in a countersunk hole and give it a smack to transfer a hole location to a bit of sheet metal. I might pick up a smaller one too!.

This is a good center finder, though it came with no instructions. The listing mostly describes how to use it.The part you need to know is that the collar slides down over the cone till the collar meets the work piece. You need a flat surface on the work piece for the collar to meet the work piece and hold the device perpendicular to the work piece and then the pin will make a mark at the center of the opening.
