The fan motor model for my 2004 GE side by side was WR60X10020 & was not listed on this web site, but the motor looked identical except for wiring. I used a multi-meter to find the "hot wire" (120VAC) on the refrigerator's fan connector with the fridge plugged in and compressor running and found that my black wire was hot and outside yellow wire is neutral. The connectors on both refrig wiring and old and new motor connectors can only plug together one way due to flat sides in the plastic holes. However, for this fan it meant the fan's outside yellow wire got fed with 120VAC and the black wire became neutral. A motor coil of this type functions either way. It still produces a magnetic field and the shaft still turns the same way (clockwise) to blow the air the right way.One other difference between my old motor and this one was that this motor has a ground wire in the center terminal of the three wire connector and my old motor has only two wires in the connector and nothing in the middle. This new motor has a ground wire connected to that center terminal and the other end was riveted (with an aluminum rivet) in the hole that was one of the mounting points for the fan to mount to the fridge fan housing. So, I drilled it out and got two #6 screws, nuts & lock-washers from my parts drawers, just cut off that wire at the connector and mounted the new motor to the fridge's fan housings with them. That worked fine. So, it's working fine now and a lot quieter than the old 20 yr old one with worn bushingsHere's an unrelated hint: get a long round coil brush on Amazon and brush & vacuum off the condenser coils about once a year to retain efficiency and not overwork your compressor. Runs cooler and longer (more years).

Installation was not too bad, there is an online how to on You Tube. I ended up splicing the wires as it was easier than trying to remove the refrigerator's existing wire loom and disturb the seal on part of it. Works fine, nothing was wrong with the original, the problem of water leaking out of the freezer was due to a plugged-up drain tube, which was causing the coils in the freezer to accumulate more water on them and freeze, then on the defrost cycle it had nowhere to drain other than out the freezer door.

I have a GE MONOGRAM side by side 2002 model ZFSB26DRE SS.did so much research trying to find the right motor without taking things apart first. Even GE website and customer service gave me the wrong part number. This is motor is for the condenser fan located rear bottom. It is a direct fit and connector matches.15 minutes i was done. I watched video how to replace. I hope this review saves you time.

Similar issues as others:- Had to splice original connector onto these wires because the pins in this connector are too large.- The motor was also wired backwards on the connector, so I corrected that when I spliced in the original connector.- Had to shim the mounting bushings onto the motor with some plastic from a bag because the bushings were wobbly on this motor otherwise.- the motor was shipped in a small paper box that was placed in a plastic mailing bag. The box was not secured with anything and split open during transport, so the motor was just bouncy around in a plastic bag all the way here.+ The shaft was actually a good length on this, though. No issues with the fan blades rubbing on anything.+ Once I had rewired the motor using the old connector, the motor actually seemed to work quite well.It seems to be a decent fan motor. It’s just very poorly packaged and definitely not plug and play. Be prepared to do some re-wiring and custom fitting when mounting it.

had issue with the power connector fit, re- used the one from the old motor and this motor has been working flawlessly for a month so far. Looks well built and good to last another decade.
