This works great for rinsing quinoa. Just what I needed.

I have been looking for strainer for rice and was disappointed from some of the other brands that described there’s as one of its attributes. This strainer is the ideal size and configuration.

I purchased this new strainer when my old one's mesh came loose from the frame and dropped my canned spinach in the dirty sink . This one is a good size and very sturdy. The only thing I'm not liking is that the mesh is so fine (tiny holes) that after straining pasta it took 3 tries and a toothpick to get the starch out of the holes. I rinsed it immediately and left it to soak in some water and still had to use a toothpick to get the last of it out. I'm guessing veggies and other non-starchy things will be fine. If, like me, your primary use will be for smaller portions of pasta I would recommend something with just a little bigger holes.

I needed some new strainers and found this three piece set on Amazon at a very reasonable price. Each are a perfect size for various uses. The small one fit in my utensil drawer and the other two fit easily in a cupboard.

These are all great. When they came in, I felt like I'd mostly use the two biggest ones but I even found a use for the really small one. I prop it up on my coffee cup and make tea with it. I have loose tea leaves that I put in a container with hot water. After a few minutes I just pour it over the tiny strainer. It's perfect!

Looks reasonably well made, but can't tell how sturdy or easy to clean it will be.But, the 9'' model proved to be only 8.5'' -- not a huge deal, but a bit misleading.
