I really like this light, it comes on very bright, if you hold the on/off switch on, it will dim the light. I use for reading a book late at night, so the ability to dim the light is important. The clip is a bit large and I don't use it.

During pacific palisades fire, my area had power outage for more than 6 days. That made me to look for LED light that light up last longer and changeable the batteries. This one uses 2 AAA batteries and very small. It's not bright enough to walk around in a dark area but works for reading book or note, etc… without bother people next to you. So this Reading Light maybe a good one to take with you for your travel, or blackout situation.

Compact, easy to use, not complicated, no bizarre oddball battery. Just 2 AAA batteries, 3 settings. I dropped one & it fell into 4 pieces, easily reassembled (only happened once). I bought several for gifts. LOVE THEM!

I love the quality of light in this reading light! The soft warm light setting is great for reading before bed! The clip works well but it does slide a little bit. The light arm angles up and down really well, but I'd love if you could angle it left and right so it's not just shining down. Being able to replace batteries rather than have to recharge is amazing! When I need to read, its ready to go and if the batteries are dead I can just pop new ones in!
