I have a high thick backboard on my bed and it will not accommodate clip style reading lights. This sits on top of the backboard with a nice metal plate going down the back for stability. I added some double sided tape on the top of the backboard to keep it anchored in one spot in case someone bumped the bed. Light adjustment switch hangs down along side the backboard at just the right length before the wire goes to the plug. Lots of light to make for perfect reading. Works very well for me!

The hanging and dimming features are excellent; the light stays in place tethered to a headboard against a wall, and the adjustable light output works well. A smooth, rotary dimmer switch on the cord would be better on the lamp base for easy access, but isn't a deal-breaker; I simply keep it where I can reach it. I sprung for the high price because the lamp looked like everything I wanted, and I kept the thing because it absolutely was. Even the 'gold' color, a little chintzy out of the box, looks sleek and expensive at a distance and doesn't clash with my otherwise neutral decor. Very happy with this little guy.

I don’t have room for side table so this was perfect to put over side of bed frame- easy to adjust, nice light, really nice quality.

The design concept is good - the manufacturer and choice of materials is weak. The base of the light is very soft rubber and impossible to get to stick and stay put (I used most expensive 3M tape for holding heavy objects but alas... not good. LIght beam are unstable (vascilates in intensity), and cord is mounted facing out (hard to position to headboard. Would not purchase again.

I love this thing! more than I thought I would actually.. it can be dimmed so it's not an 'in your face' or 'on your page' brightness. very easy to mount on the headboard. the gooseneck adjustment is awesome.. what's not to like?! highly recommend!

It's wedged on top of my headboard with the enclosed styrofoam block against the wall. I like the look. Just have to be careful if I pull the bed away from the wall to access the outlet.

Hands down one of the best finds. These are amazing. Aesthetically pleasing, easy to “install†(if you can consider turning two screws installing), perfect for my husband and I to read with proper lighting and not bothering the other. Finish is really pretty and it feels solid.

Compre este artÃculo porque mi esposo lee por la noche, y esta lampara resulta muy buena para nosotros, porque yo me puedo dormir, sin que me moleste la luz.Además me gusto porque no tienes que taladrar la pared para que la lampara se quede en su lugar, es muy funcional , si tienes una cabecera.

Looks good and mounts easily. I find the control position on the cord ideal as light is over one side of a King bed

Purchased these lights approximately 3 months ago and really like the fit on the headboard the adjustability of the light and dimmer feature. Very pleased with these lights.
