I really wish the handle was a little thinner but not a deal breaker, however I've had no issues with these otherwise.They are sharp and cut well. I have even trimmed a fingernail and a pinch with them. They have no issues. Cutting braid which can be extremely frustrating with bad scissors or nail clippers. I think the price is a little bit high but not unreasonable. I've had no issues with rust. They're comfortable to hold, but sometimes the width can get in the way. I'm glad I bought the longer ones. It makes them easier to use.I think they could taper the plastic more towards the clippers and still leave room for the retractable wheel being wider. Either way, I don't think it would stop me from purchasing them unless they made a modified version.

I've bought at least 4 or 5 of these. They cut everything and we use them every time we fish. They do dull after a while but cheap enough to replace when needed. Definitely buy

A must have, and attached nicely on the side of my fishing bag. I use it only for braid. The only negative is the retractable cord, which usually goes bad before the blade give out. I will continually use this product until there is something better. Cuts great. Retractable cord stinks

This little line cutter accomplishes what many others do not -- a clean cut of braided line. Many others cutters I have tried will fray braid, but this one cuts clean. Mono, too.

These are handy little snips, pretty well made but they feel a little light to me. I bought the longer blade version and like them alot better. No issues with cuttingfifty pound braid and mono. Tried some heavier braid with these saltwater heavy snips and it easily cut it but not cleanly. I don't have much call to cut heavier than fifty pound test , if I had to choose one I would definitelyget the long blade version, much easier to use and I am sure it would cut higher than fifty poundbraid.

Perfect tool, easier to use than either scissors or nail clippers. If anything happens to the one I have, I will buy another immediately. Excellent tool for any fisherman.

I have these on my fishing box and they go everywhere. Easily cut through 50lb braid and 80lb fluorocarbon. Great purchase
