Yes this is expensive, but I have went through SOOOOOOOO many $10-$50 scales that buying this is saving me money in the long run. Been using it for a half a season and so far it's worked flawlessly

These scales are very pricey but are great scales for the serious or pro fisherman if you tournement fish there great if not there cheaper scales out there.

I am extremely disappointed. I thought we could have multiple users so that you could assign a catch to someone else with you on your boat. You can't. There is the bag thing where you add fish to 4 generic bags for a tournament, but you can tag names on the catch. So in September, you won't know who caught what while fishing with you. The marketing ploy is obviously to get your wife, son and friend to but their own scale at $300 and open their own account at $70 a year in order to record their own fish while fishing with you on your boat! Incredible. I think I will return it. (Note: you can't even go in the app in the log and tag the fish to someone. Its always allocated to you!) Not impressed.
