I had ordered a "starter set" of lab glassware sometime ago, and it came with 2 separatory funnels, but they were unfortunately quite small, at 250ml and 100ml. As I often work with larger quantities, I decided it was time for an upgrade to a larger separatory funnel.This is a fantastic upgrade for me. In the photo, you'll see this 1000ml from Lab Basics on the left, and my 250ml "kit funnel" on the right. This is WAY bigger, so now when I'm working with 1000ml beakers full of whatever, I'll be able to dump the whole works in this.The quality seems great, it doesn't seem to leak, and everything seals nicely. Works with the myriad lab stand rings I have, too. And at $50, it seems like a bargain. 5 stars and highly recommended.

Excellent. Works exactly as described. I purchased the 1000ml to seperate hydrosol and essential oil of our artisan distillations. A tip; the essential oil will stick to the glass, this is normal. Allow it to drip down overnight and it will all be accumulated in the thimble by morning. Don't forget to remove the glass stopper at the top when you remove your liquid, or else it will drip out one drop at a time.

it's a seps funnel; what's there to like or dislike? it matches the description, and it was packed well and arrived intact.i read quite a few reviews of seps funnels that fault them for hard to turn stopcocks or "weak" lower necks that broke when turning the stopcock. a small bit of silicone grease around the stopcock where it contacts the funnel will help (do this on the stopper, too!); and to quote a chem prof who was paraphrasing a popular fast food joint ad: "it takes two hands to handle a stopcock" - you should always hold the seps funnel itself at the stopcock and turn the stopcock with the other hand.

Hab aber auch keine Erfahrung. Ich benutze das Teil um Lavendel-Hydrolat vom Lavendel-Öl zu trennen, das funktioniert.

Malheureusement, le colis était très léger pour la fragilité de l'appareil... il arrivé en petits morceaux... j'attends le remboursement. Et visiblement l'article de 2000ml n'est plus disponible.

El embudo llegó muy bien empacando y sin mayor problema. De acuerdo a lo que se esperaba de este producto de laboratorio.
