This drill bit drilled holes in old, extremely hard concrete walls with stones in it to install lead anchors to hang electrical cabinetry. Wow! It was effortless. It blasted right through the stones. I drilled 30 holes and the bit showed no discernible wear. I highly recommend buying this Bosch bit.

I've always like Bosch because of its high quality & made in europe other than china. I compared Bosch's price & quality with others like DeWalt. To my surprise, DeWalt's price was too high thru Amazon. I needed a concrete drill bit to drill a hole thru my basement walls to rearrange my plumbing. This Bosch rotary hammer bit is the best there is, for spline line. I've looked everywhere and I've compared the prices & quality even against Bosch's regular Bosch rotary hammer bit. I will tell you, it's worth it to pay couple more bucks to get the "wild bore" because it will dig into the wall much better, with 4 cutters instead of 2. Can't go wrong with this product.

I love it that manufactures went from a 12 splined bit to a different bit locking design just so they could sell more new drills, its gettng difficult to find the older 12 splined bits, this one fits my old bosch 11247 drill thats 10 years old. thanks Drill manufactures for planned obselesence !
