Tough German steel that gets the job done when penetrating or cracking pebbled concrete. As tough as it is pebbled concrete will wear it down. But that will take some time as the tip is designed to keep a point.Great tool for that small job.Note: This is an SDS-plus bit that requires a SDS drill/hammer for it to work.

Worked like a charm, fit perfectly into my Harbor Freight Impact drill. I just wish I would have purchased a slightly longer one.

Great product, very durable, I purchased for chipping away old mortar on a concrete floor. I found the Bosch tile chisel to be better at this application. Scaling chisel had a tendency to dig into the concrete instead of chipping away the old mortar.Chisel is durable and I will continue to use it for demolition work. Stubby length allows access to harder to reach places and provides more leverage.NOTE: this chisel is in fact stubby, measuring approximately 5" long when inserted into a SDS chuck. The picture is incorrect in regard to product length - this chisel does not have a long shank like the pic.

I bought this HS1495 stubby chisel to use with my Bosch 11224VSR SDS rotary hammer. The chisel is decently made in Italy from good quality steel and has an overall length of 5-3/4", but the length is further reduced to about 4" when installed in the hammer, which makes it good for getting into tight spots where a standard SDS chisel would be too long. When used along with the Bosch right angle SDS adapter, it makes for an even more compact setup. It seems like it will hold up just as well as any other SDS chisel for concrete chipping, so I think it was a good buy.
