This hole saw worked perfect for drilling a hole for an air switch a customer of mine wanted installed on his kitchen sink. I used a generous amount of dish soap as lubricant and to keep the heat down. It took less than a minute to drill a perfect 1-3/8" hole in his 16 GA sink so I could install the air switch and then his garbage disposal. This hole saw held up incredibly, there is no damage to the arbor or the teeth of the hole saw after the cut. I imagine I will be able to use this saw at least a dozen more times. Worth every penny.

Pros:- cut Chevy roof steel easily, for NMO mount purposes- no chipping of paint at hole edge, the blades are super good for that.- very little burr on the bottom, too- minimal cutting oil neededCons:- the actual hole drilled was somewhat bigger than 3/4" due to the drill wandering around a bit during the hole drilling. I can't describe accurately how this happened, but I felt the bit wander a bit in an orbital fashion around the true center as the hole was first being cut. Hence the hole was a bit bigger than 3/4" and the NMO mount 'ears' were really straining to grab onto metal given the larger hole. I think this is MORE an NMO mount design issue, than the Bosch hole drill, but still, if this bit had made a perfect hole of 0.750", I would have definitely preferred that.Run the drill at 1/3 revs... e.g. low speed... no need for high speed, but not at too low speed either.Experiment on a scrap piece of equivalent thickness sheet metal first!

Started to drill the first hole. Barely made a mark with the bit before it stopped and the hole saw kept spinning. Zero holes drilled! Great product.

I work in the HVAC trade and I do many 1/2†holes for my romex connectors and this is a game changer. You don’t have to worry about making the hole too big or small, and this fits right on the impact. If you make many 1/2†holes throughout your day at work, this is a game changer, and they’re cheaper I said you get at least 2 just in case one breaks or burns out.

Sharp and very easy to use on a pvc five gallon bucket to cut hole for a rain barrel faucet. Would buy again.

Very unhappy with this product. Tried it out for the first time and the bit sits there and spins on itself. I tried to tighten the set screw and it did not help any. Maybe I just got a dud and I get that, but as of right now it’s less than a one star product.
