This little black hitch cover fits perfectly on my Prius with a Curt brand trailer hitch. Be sure to check the measurements - 1.25 or 2 inch - and order accordingly. Made of rubber and is easy to install. But what I really love about this one is the retainer band that helps keep it from getting lost, stolen, or knocked off. It looks really sharp too! Very pleased with this product.

These come in different sizes. Get right size. Also, if you back into something like a curb, you can smash these. Otherwise, work well. Keeps dirt out. Keeps inside of tube from rifting. Look nice.

I wish I'd bought this years ago. Finally decided to clean my receiver. Used brush and steel wool to do so. Applied lithium grease. My hitch now inserts easily. This plug will keep it that way.

I lost my previous one in a car wash. This one is attached to the hitch so even if the cover comes off, it will still be attached to the car. Looks good. Fits into the hitch well. Seems durable.

This is my third hitch plug. The first one fell out and disappeared one day. (The second I forgot to take out when I sold the car.)This one is comparable quality to the other two, and has a loop to keep it attached to the car when when the hitch receiver is in use, or should the plug fall out. The plastic is soft enough so it is easy to fit the loop over the flange, and it does not try to snap back and pull out the plug.I just installed it this afternoon. If there is a durability issue, I will update my review.Also note that the Amazon page lists two specific cars that it fits, which is silly -- it will fit any 1-1/4" hitch receiver.

This simple easy plug fit my 1 1/4 inch receiver on my VW without an issue. I can easily see how it could work with nearly all similar hitch installations. I like how it has a collar to help keep it in place and also hold it out of the way when a hitch is installed. Material is pliable but seems durable. I would purchase this again.

This wasn't expensive, easy enough to install, and the rubber construction should last fine. I lost my old receiver hitch cover because it didn't have a tether like this one does. However, the old one fit perfect, as the outside edges were the exact same width as my receiver hitch, and the cover was more of a hard textured plastic that was thinner with rounder corners and edges. It just seated and fit better to the point that you couldn't even tell it was a separate piece from the receiver hitch. This one slides in, but the cover just doesn't fit or seat well--hence the 3 star rating.
