Honestly, the Jury was out for a couple weeks on this item. It definitely has some pros, and some cons but the positives win out for me!Pros:• easy to use• very sturdy• easy to store, because it is foldable• attractive• functionalCons:• long loaves, like the 13 inch Pullman loaf are difficult to cut because they're just too long• I'm a little bit concerned about the scoring on the bottom of the slicer. I don't want plastic in my food• you need to read the instructions to figure out how to fold it - it's not easily intuitive

Perfect size for bread machine loaf. Makes cutting bread much easier and uniform slices. Seems durable and clean up is a snap.

This is a really nice bread slicer. Very sturdy. There’s just one thing about when you slice the bread you have to hold the bread against the end to keep it from moving; which makes it slightly difficult for even slices. 3 hands would make it easier.

I would not purchase this again. The slats are too narrow causing for very thin slices and they are not very sturdy, they move when trying to slice the bread causing uneven slices. I can slice free hand better than this allowed me to slice.

This product is perfect for slicing a loaf of white bread. The plastic is lightweight and a little flexible, but still serves its purpose if I was slicing more than one loaf a week I would use something harder maybe stainless steel or Wood but this is perfect for what we need.
