First of all, the replacement screen fits perfectly for my broken Acer laptop screen. So if you have a broken laptop screen that is this exact model, and if you're comfortable with opening your laptop's screen bezel, then this is an easy and inexpensive way to replace the broken screen yourself. Other than the replacement screen, all the necessary tools are included. It took me about 30 minutes to take the broken screen out and install the replacement. Make sure cable is plugged in securely to the screen, turn the laptop on and you're good to go!

I ordered this replacement screen on Wednesday before Memorial Day, and STILL got it on Saturday. Good response time! The screen was a perfect fit for my Acer Aspire 5 A515-45-R74Z, and worked immediately. It's got a slightly matte finish, so it's not glossy. It's really simple to replace the screen too. Snap out the screen bezel, heat up the case lid on the edges where you can see the adhesive strips are (I used a 300 degree heat gun). Then pull out old screen. Lift the tape over the connector so you can disconnect the cable. There is a tiny little buckle on the connector that you lift up and it stays with the cable. Pull out the connector. Remove any left over adhesive strip. Put in the new adhesive strip in the marked (lines on the inside of the lid). Plug in new cable and buckle it in. Make sure adhesive strip is exposed on both sides. Carefully place the screen in the lid. Press gently where the adhesive strips attached. Remove protective screen sheet. Snap the bezel back on.I tested that it came on OK right after the cable was reattached. Then turned it back off to finish up. Took me about 30 minutes all told, most of that getting old screen unstuck.
