Use Case - Automatic Sliding Gates
Alpha can be connected to the electronic control unit of automatic sliding gate installations - single or dual, so that the sliding gates can be operated from a Smartphone.
Use Case: Automatic Swing Gates
The Selindus Alpha module can be connected to the control boards of existing or new automatic swing gates so that the opening and closing of the gates can be managed by authorised Smartphone users.
Use Case: Automatic Garage Doors

Instructions are horrible lets just say it comes with no instructions but once you figure it out, it works amazing and my gate unit is over 15 years.

Once I got it installed and connected, it works great! Highly recommend.However, I've gotta knock the instructions that really don't give a lot of help with install. If you know what you're doing then it's easy enough to figure out, but I could see a novice struggling with it. Note that this has to be wired to 120v AC, and should not be attempted unless you know what you're doing. The door closed sensor/switch is a magnetic switch and you need to pay special attention that you don't mount it in a way that interferes with the door opening/closing and that the magnet is mounted in a repeatable door fully closed position. The magnet isn't super strong so it can't be very far from the switch.Additionally, the app connectivity was a bit of a pain. I could not manually connect it to my WiFi and had to enable location and bluetooth to find the SSID. Also, because it is 2.4Ghz, it didn't seem to play well with the 'smart' Wifi that has 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz on the same SSID. Not a huge deal - I just enabled a password protected guest connection to connect it to, but it could have been a little more straightforward.

Instructions were garbage. Can’t seem to contact manufacturer or seller. Purpose was for gate access and we got it to link and work finally but the app always says the opposite of what the gate is open or closed and zero info online, in the app or on the instructions. I would not buy again and if I can’t get ahold of anyone to resolve the issue I will be returning it.

The product works well, but it took some trial and error to figure out how to wire it. For a sliding gate, Connect N to your AC neutral port, L to your 120V AC port, L1 to your relay port, and L2 to your 24V DC common. Note that S1 and S2 are not intended to be connected for gates.

Tried every which way to connect to the 2.4Gh Wi-Fi and wouldn't have a bar of it. 2 days trying different methods. Every camera and lamp in my house (14) use the 2.4Gh STARLINK Wi-Fi which is capable of handling 145 devices. Everything I have setup using it connects instantly. The device was installed by an electrician who knew what he was doing and he was dumbfounded. The software keeps saying make sure the device is in pairing mode. There is nothing on the device to show that it is or it isn't. I assume that you put it in pairing mode by resetting the device. Nothing works and yet it had full power connected to the sliding gate controller. They should not be able to sell this rubbish on Amazon. Things need to be tested to make sure they actually work out of the box. And good luck trying to contact the seller.

Very easy to install on our automatic gate controller and the Tuya app works well, but the settings don't match the gate. Normally the gate is triggered with a single button which alternately opens and closes the gates, but the app gives me separate open and close buttons. This is problematic mostly for the voice control. If i want to open my gate but the app thinks the gate is open, then asking it to open won't do anything. I have to tell it to "close", which triggers the gate and it opens. The opposite is then true the next time you use it.Are there any settings in the app I should be changing to make it a single button controller?
