Dual Alarm
Once the power supply fails, the siren sounds and the red light flashes (0.25s interval). If the power failure lasts over 8 hours, the siren will be turned off automatically with the red light left (2s interval).
Rechargeable

Needed an alarm for our freezer to let us know if the outlet is tripped. This has worked very well for us and did alert us to an outage. It is loud enough to hear a floor away and is simple to install.

This power out alarm works amazing. I have it hooked up to an outdoor outlet that has a freezer attached to it. We lost power the other night and it started screeching obnoxiously. It definitely works. The sucky part was I had to go outside and press the button so it would stop, but you cannot miss the noise.The only thing I do not like is that the outside plug box holds two plugs, but this system is bulky so only one plug can fit into the outlet.

We have a grinder pump that I'd like to know if it ever loses power so I purchased this. It's VERY loud but kind of fussy messing with it. Wish buttons were more clear on what they mean (charging vs on and ready) but for something I'll never mess with, it's fine

Bought these after our breaker on our deep freezer went out, causing us to loose all of our food. This product is very loud if it loses power and is very easy to use and set up. This very inexpensive product will save alot of money if my deep freeze ever goes back out

You need one of these if you have a deep freezer or refrigerator. If the power goes out because someone in your house trips the GFI switch on a plug connected to the freezer, you may never know your freezer has been off for hours or days. With this device, you will know instantly when your freezer loses power, and you can attend to it before it is too late.

My intention is to use this between my gas powered generator and the devices and appliances in the house during a power outage. Only minor point is I wish the alert was louder (granted the db was listed but I didn't know how loud that was until I tested it).

Update, Feb 2025I opened my freezer this evening to find the contents well on their way to being defrosted. No alarm, no warning. I removed this alarm from the circuit and plugged the freezer back in and it fired right up. Something was rattling around inside and I can't return it being 8 months old so I cracked open the case. Inside, was the load side terminal. The solder connection had broken loose and it was laying loose inside. No alarm sounded as the device was still receiving power ...but not passing it on to the freezer. If not for an ice cream craving I would have lost everything in my freezer. Do not buy!!!!Original review:It was almost dead when I received it....but after being plugged in a while it works fine. The sound is just annoying enough to get your attention if it's in a back room (my laundry room).
