I recently moved to rural Michigan and much to my dismay, I now have hard water. I installed this filter in my kitchen in a desperate attempt to remove that hard water taste, AND IT WORKED! My ONLY issue is that I seem to be burning through them at a rate of one per month. However, this is a small price to pay for great tasting water.
