It works well enough. The softer bristles help get the dusty bits. The "comb" for cleaning hair clumps is nice.One design flaw. The dust bin should be bigger. It's Impossible to get the broom into the bin without a bunch if bristles getting caught and bent all over the place. My brand new broom looks 10 yrs old because the bristles are flayed out all over.

This looks like it would be a very nice set BUT!Each pole is supposed to terminate with a piece that has a black plastic thread end. Those ends are to be inserted and screwed into either the dustpan or the broom head.But Instead of receiving the right parts, I only received one plastic threaded end. I would have to switch the handles to have EITHER a broom OR a dustpan with this missing part. I received an extra extension instead of the part with the plastic threads, but that is of no use.

My wife has plants all over the house. We also have 3 dogs who are huge blockheads. Blockheads love to crash into plants and make big blockhead messes.I am 6'8" and in my mid-50's. When I scooch down to do things like clean up blockhead messes I tend to get lightheaded and feeling like crap upon standing up again.Enter this little beauty!Cleans up all the big stuff in a flash, then I can vacuum to get the rest.Really nothing much to complain about here, it works as it should, but I did take a star because this just isn't built like they meant for it to last a super long time. Eventually a plastic joint or something will snap. Until then though, bring it on blockheads!

This is great broom and dustpan set. I love it is extendable so I can adjust it so itvis comfortable for me. I love having a dustpan with an handle so I don't have to bend to sweep the dust into the dustpan. It is of great quality and sturdy. Once it is put together and tighten, it stays tight so I don't have to keep retighening it.I love how once the dust is swept into the dustpan, I can tilt it up and do not have to worry about it accidentally falling out. The broom does a a great job of sweeping the dust on my floors as well as my kitchen mats because the bristles are just the right stiffness. My previous broom bristles were to soft and didn't sweeping up dust as well as this broom. Another thing I like about this set is that the dustpan has a hook that the broom attach to and the set can be stored upright. This is vthe best broom and dustpan I have ever had. It is definitely a great value for the money in my opinion .

This broom and dustpan kit works really well and will help anyone needing tools to clean up their place.I like that the manufacturer wisely chose how to make the various parts so they are essentially keyed to make assembly easier.The kit comes with the handles for the broom and dustpan in sections. The handles have different screw threads for each end of the handle sections so there is no confusion about which way to assemble the handles. Each handle comes in its own bag so you can see which handle goes to which tool - broom or dustpan - because the end of each handle has a different grip which is intuitive for the position which you would place your hand to use the tool!Then one of the best features I've not seen on other kits of this ilk is that the dustpan pan's upper lip has a rake across it so you can sweep the broom across it to remove leftover sweepings stuck in the broom whiskers! There is a lot to like about this kit and with its great price, I'd highly recommend it.
