This is a good sturdy bar, I put it together and that is that. I made it just a tiny bit shorter than the door so it’s easy to remove and put back. Its grip is good if you need it super snug. The value was on point, good cost for what you get. It adds a level of safety to your sliding glass door. This also acts as a perfect Wish a Mutha F’er would bar. Perfect thickness for the door or to smack a burglar upside the head. So I would say functionality is perfect for dual purpose. Lol

The Sliding door security bar is everything it was promised to be. It was relatively easy to assemble. I did ask my husband for some help with it. The bar itself is solid and fits well against our sliding glass door. It was a solid purchase and I am happy with it.

Perfect!! Exactly what I was looking for! I was able to assemble it with no issues and it makes a feel so much safer living on the ground floor of my apartment! It has so many parts that makes sure it secured in place and keeps the window tight and shut.

Stops the door very well when I forget it’s in place, lol. Easy to remove when not needed, and easy to put back (just lift it out/drop it in).
