These shower door bottom guides are constructed of injection-molded plastic and come clear in color. Each guide includes a strip of double sided adhesive tape to allow for ease of installation. The channels feature 1/2 inch wide openings that will allow for use with up to 7/16 inch thick glass panels. Use of these snap-in bottom-mount guides will help keep hanging glass panels aligned in their respective tracks. They are easy to install and are used by a variety of tub and shower door manufacturers. Use of mildew resistant adhesive is preferred by most (not included).

The guide fits great but the adhesive didn't really stick at all once the doors were set back up even though the surface was clean and dry before applying. Glued the guide down and works fine.

The item itself is fine, but the double sided tape didn't stick to the aluminum frame very long. I removed all the adhesive from the guide and reattached it with super glue. Now it is solidly in place.

We were in an extended rental property in Florida this winter. The shower doors were not secured on the bottom and it was a real pain because they constantly moved when you were in the shower. For a couple of dollars, problem solved. The doors tracked well following installation.
