The Prime 1500 features Bushnell’s exclusive EXO Barrier technology. The coating bonds to exterior lens surfaces and repels water, oil, fog, dust and debris, protecting it from anything mother nature throws its way.
What does that mean? If you are hunting in the rain, you don't have to worry about clearing any rain drops off your lens, your image will be as crystal clear as ever. Look through rain drops and smudges like they don't exist. Your optic is at 100% even when the conditions are not.
Slope Adjustment or ARC (Angle Range Compensation) Mode measures true distances uphill and downhill for accurate shots on target. Never lack confidence on an angled shot again.
Bow Mode
Bow Mode - Calculates and displays the degree of incline, and the resulting true horizontal distance in yards or meters, in addition to the line of sight distance.
Rifle Mode
Rifle Mode - Using Ballistic Charts A-J Dial Reference Charts for Common Ammunition. The range finder accounts for Ballistic Drop Compensation in your range reading.
Bullseye / Brush Mode
Brush and Bullseye Mode – Brush mode ignores foreground objects — brush, trees and branches — and provides distances to background objects only. Bullseye mode acquires the distances of small targets without inadvertently measuring background object distances.
Scan Mode
Ultra-Fast Scanning – When holding down the range button, the Prime 1500 automatically goes into scan mode where it updates range 4 times per second. This gives you more information and faster to get you on target quicker.

Love the different features. Being able to switch between bow and gun is awesome. I like that the bow shows your angle of elevation and the gun feature allows you to set up for your caliber to calculate for drop.

This item is great I love the accuracy when you range something and how quickly it ranges for you also great for low light situations had great functionality and a great quality picture when ranging very easy to use I would recommend this to anyone

Had a few times showed 7.5 yards even tho i was 20 yards from anything. popped batteries out and back in for a reset. worked fine since

For the price it’s excellent. It does what in needs to do. Only negative thing I would say is it’s kinda shiny and a little slippery. Could just be the one I received. It’s not a deal breaker. It’s as accurate as the other three of these things I’ve owned. I wouldn’t go out and spend any more money than this for anything else unless you’re glassing in mountain terrain. This is more than enough for the everyday bow hunter

This made deer season very easy this year. I was able to range out from my stand to develop known distances. I tested this along large field and it was again very accurate to the established distance between GPS points.

I gave my Nikon to my son and had to replace it for general use (i.e., golfing, hunting, target practice, etc.). This was on sale at a great price and I bought it. I have several Bushnell rifle scopes which I'm happy wiwth already and this range finder doesn't disappoint. Accurate and clear. Love the different options it has, even though I haven't used them all yet. I don't know how tough it is, but time will tell.
