  • HOMEMADE BUTTER | Make delicious, homemade butter with the Butter Churner. Simply place double cream into the glass jar base, attach the lid with the churning mechanism and turn the handle which starts to rotate the paddles. Continue to churn for around 10 minutes until the butter fat separates from the buttermilk. Strain away the buttermilk and shape the butter fat using the Butter Paddles. The buttermilk can be utilised for pancakes or scone mixtures.
  • CONTENTS | This set includes one 32 fluid ounce mason jar,1 Aeaker Butter Churn,1 Non Skid Custom Silicone Pad (keeps the churn in place on smooth surfaces)and one recipe booklet.
  • TAKING CARE | Please note this is handwash only, do not pour boiling water directly.
  • SUSTAINABLE GLASS | Aeaker Mason jar glass is made from natural ingredients, ensuring no harmful chemicals or toxins can leak into your food. The glass is also BPA-free and does not absorb odours, flavours, or stains. Not only is glass a healthier option, but it is also made to last and never for single use.
  • THE SECRET OF SUCCESS | Churning time is dependent on the starting temperature of the cream and the speed of churning. If you start with cream at 65 °F and churn at a speed of about 120~150 RPM, the total time of making butter (including draining buttermilk and molding butter) is about 10-20 minutes.

Homemade butter is easy to make.

Homemade butter is easy to make:

  • Homemade butter is easy to make. It is one of the few culinary processes that starts with one ingredient (cream) and ends with two (butter & buttermilk).
  • Churning time is dependent on the starting temperature of the cream and the speed of churning. If you start with cream at 65 °F and churn at a speed of about 120-150 RPM, the total time of making butter (including draining buttermilk and molding butter) is about 20-25 minutes.
  • There are many ways to make your own butter, but we find the simplest and most effective way is to use a hand-powered butter churn. The end product is creamy, rich and just better.

Includes:

  • Aeaker Butter Churn
  • Non-Skid Custom Silicone Pad (keeps the churn in place on smooth surfaces)
  • Complete Butter Making Instructions and Recipes

Additional tips:

Use a cream that contains at least 35% fat.

Churning process takes 10-20 minutes.

Butter can be easily seasoned to achieve sweet or savory flavor.

This butter churn is really well made. I've bought others of similar size, shape and method of operating and none of them could churn the butter as it thickened. This one was my "last" attempt at getting a compact butter churn and I was thankfully surprised. The part on the earlier purchased churns that failed was the gears that drive the paddle, all the other churns had cheap, loose gears that would slip causing the paddle to stop as the butter thickened. This churn is so well constructed of better materials and heavier gears that it effortlessly mixed the butter and never once slipped or failed. It takes about 7 to 8 minutes to churn about 1/2 lb of butter and it's awesome. I highly recommend this churn.

My grandkids got into making butter by shaking cream in a mason jar. When I saw this, I just had to get one for them. It was kind of expensive, but it is really a lovely item. Well made, sturdy, and a good lesson about gears, etc. it worked great and made delicious butter.

It's a pretty decent little butter churn. Using heavy whipping cream, I was able to make butter in about 5-10 minutes. Super simple. Downside I see is that the metal seems a bit cheaper, but I also don't see it rusting. No metal flaked off, nothing like that. You also can't fill it too full, otherwise if you're cranking it fast, whatever cream you are using may spill a little bit around the top of the lid, near the gears (not a big deal, it's not a flaw, it's just that that means it may be filled a bit too full). For the quality of it, I do consider it a bit more expensive than it needs to be, but it works well and is a cheaper option, so there is that.Mine did NOT come broken, it was completely fine. It also comes with something to set the jar on to keep it from sliding. I haven't used it yet, we took the handle off, attached a drill and set the speed, and duct taped the trigger on it to save our hands 😆

it's great, makes great butter. takes about 5 to 10 minutes of somewhat intense mixing, so switch people to get a break, but turns out great everytime.

Do not recommend. It was awesome at first and after the 3rd use started leaking gear oil into the butter and out the top.

It works well. Where the gears are and below the lid is grease and leaked into my butter.

wow..thanks.. made butter within 16mins .... the trick is have the whipping cream cold at around 60-65F . tried with cream from raw milk and failed... so got whipping cream and viola - BUTTER just stopped buy butter from the market . at least i know what my butter is made of. you can season it as you wish.. this looks like it will take a long time to break,,,, good thing fits in with other mason jars i have. very giftable for fresh butter lovers.

The unit fits mason jars, a bonus, not as heavy duty as you would expect for the price

It worked fine for a short time but the gears all piled up soon after buying it. The gears are only aluminum or some other soft metal and they don't last long. For the price I expected much more.

Although the box was not smashed and the jar was wrapped in foam, the jar it's self has a huge broken hole in the base.
