Great butter dish . Has a nice finish and fits perfectly in the butter compartment of the fridge . I just wish the bottom had that smooth finish also .

I bought this because I wanted to get away from the tub butters. The tub butters more than likely have stuff in it that we just don’t need to have. So I wanted to get back to basics and just use grass fed butter sticks. It’s working out very well, easy to clean and it’s pretty on your counter.

Really like this, nice size and weight, and it came with a nice butter knife, which I wasn’t expecting (might have been in the ad/description, but I didn’t notice, so a nice surprise).Quality ceramic, with roomy lid, which some butter dishes don’t always have.It is slightly darker blue than pictured, it almost looked black as I was unpacking it, so other than that, I’d recommend. Just be aware it’s a very dark navy color.

Classic butter dish for counter. I like the handle and design. I have it on a granite counter so I will have to be careful. I like it much better than my former plastic one.

While it looks nice the lid does not fit at all. Instead of having straight edges on the bottom of the lid it bows on both sides so it doesn’t fit in the rectangular bottom. I wouldn’t feel comfortable storing butter in this as the butter isn’t protected form contamination since the gap between lid and bottom dish is pretty bad.

This dish is geared towards the butter sticks used in the U.S. Unfortunately, our butter in Canada comes in a 1 pound block. Wish we did get the stick size. Otherwise, well made dish.Sue
