This butter bell works as described, helping to keep my butter soft and fresh for daily use. It is very plain, but still attractive, and doesn't take up a ton of space. Please note that butter bells should only be used with salted butter!

Making a countertop butter keeper is pretty simple; a cup to hold water with a lid with a second cup to hold the butter. So the only real criterion is the "fit and finish"; has the casting and glazing been done well. For this item, the answer is yes... and the price was appropriate.

I love my little crock. I've been keeping butter out on my counter for a couple of years now and like that it stays soft. First I heard of having to have water to keep it from spoiling but I followed directions and I'm enjoying it. It's easy to use and holds exactly 1 stick.

Is a little smaller than I thought but works perfectly. Got here in one piece and in time. Only holds a whole stick of butter, I thought it was bigger, but it's the perfect size.
