This butter dish is amazing. The lid seals airtight and the rubber “legs†keep it from sliding. I love to leave my butter out at room temp so it’s easy to spread. Now I have the perfect container to be able to do this.

In our house, we often have debates on whether or not the stick of butter belongs on the counter or in the fridge. My husbands main issue with it on the counter is not being in an airtight container. This butter dish was actually his idea to try! I am so glad that he did! It has anti-slip feet on the bottom, it has the little serving "tray" bottom, with an airtight lid that stays airtight. We do not have a dishwasher, so ours is handwashed, but it does hold up well both in the fridge and on the countertop. I am a big big fan of this item! I am actually getting another so I have one for inside of the fridge and one on the countertop.

It was about time that I upgraded my random old plastic dish to this really nice dedicated butter dish! Or should I say new and improved, redesigned butter dish! So many nice features to this butter dish!I love the little side handles with the non-slip texture on them. I love the non-slip feet on the bottom. I love the clear, sturdy, thick plastic lid that not only gives me a perfect view of the butter, but has an air-tight seal to keep my butter fresh. And I love the angled edges of the dish that let me slide out a pat of butter up the ramp and then wipe off the excess from the knife.Just very cleverly designed, like they thought of everything. They even included markings on the dish to measure out tablespoons of butter. Oh, and this dish allows me to finally let go of that messy paper wrapping that the butter comes in. I love everything about this butter dish!

This butter dish was a perfect size for the larger butter sticks that you get at the store. It also fit in the butter area of the refrigerator very well. It's airtight enclosure was certainly convenient, and there were subtle 1 tablespoon markings at the bottom of the dish if needed.It's made of durable dishwasher safe plastic and I did find it very lightweight as a result. To make it a little heavier my only wish is that the lid be glass instead of clear plastic. Otherwise this is a terrific buy!
