Bought this butter dish because every morning it’s a hassle to have to wait for the butter to soften out of the refrigerator.I like this dish because it’s air tight, has a clean look, and bonus points for the grips in the underside. That’s great for when I’m slicing butter for my toast : the rubber grips keep the dish from sliding and scratching the counter.Don’t have ants and don’t want them, so the air tight lid is great.Nice detailed lines for measuring if needed. Clear lid so you know when to wash it and restock with butter.Great value. Awesome design, modern clean look.Works with East coast and west coast butter. Which is a real thing. East coast has long sticks and west coast has stubbies.14/10 recommend.

I love this butter dish more than I thought I would. The design is thoughtful. It stays clean and seals well. The best part is that it won't shatter when I inevitably drop it. It has measurements inside on the bottom plate which is neat.

Not too big or small. Doesn't have BUTTER printed on it. Has stops that hold the butter stick making it so easy to slice even when cold. Rubber on the bottom is also a plus.

I have had a few butter dishes in my lifetime and they have all been glass. To me, glass represents the classic cover for butter...until my current version crashed to the floor and sent shards scattering all over the place. Never again... and so, the choice for the Hekeieon plastic butter dish, but a fine version with perfect proportion and a new classic design.
