Our new fridge doesn't have a covered butter compartment so I was looking for a suitable substitute. I am very happy with this product. The cover snaps on securely with one hand, yet also opens easily. The see-through acrylic cover has rounded edges and feels substantial. The cover seats securely into a groove on the dish, sealing the butter from being exposed to odors and keeping it fresh. The dish has tablespoon measurements built-in for great functionality. A nice feature is that the dish bottom is non-skid. Because the cover and the dish are separate it is very easy to clean. Couldn't be happier with this little butter dish.

A lot of attention to detail in this butter dish - the best is the locking clamps on the sides. It also has little feet on the bottom which are anti-slip and a ring to seal in the freshness. My previous butter dish just had a top and a bottom but no way to close it together, so it might fall if picked up by the top. Plenty of room inside for butter and also clearance at the top so it does not smudge. Nice colors and seems sturdy. I got the white one but it also comes in black and yellow versions. Great product - love it!

I needed a butter dish that would sit securely on the counter and have a top that locked. This works perfectly. It fits securely and keeps out everything I don't want on my butter while keeping it fresh and soft for every day use. The top lock works so well and keeps me from knocking the top off or losing the top when I pick up the tray. I love that it can be washed in the dishwasher! It has tablespoon markings, if I need them, but they aren't as easy to read as I'd like them to be. They're raised up but the same coloring as the dish, so they don't stand out. I'd love to see this company fix that so it's easier to measure out. I only use this on the counter but know that it fits fine in my refrigerator shelf as well. If you need a secure butter dish, this is it!

This butter dish arrived quickly and as described. I like the locking clips on both side of the dish. They seal tightly and are well designed.

Very pleased and it would be a five-star review if it hadn't come with the lid pre-scuffed. It hold both east coast and west coast butter, though apparently I've only ever seen east coast butter. The locking lid sits on, what appears to be a silicone seal, which is great for keeping odors out. There are tbsp measurement lines on the dish, but they are virtually invisible. Nice thought though. The base and lid are well constructed, but it a snug fit in my refrigerator butter tray door. This is a keeper for me and I would not hesitate to buy again or recommend. Next day; It stuck me this morning when I opened the refrigerator just how big this thing looks on the shelf. I'm going to have to buy bigger butter sticks. :-)

My cat LOVES butter. He has gotten into so many containers and broken others. I thought having soft butter ready for toast would simply be impossible, but this container is PERFECT. It seals so well he didn't even realize butter was there for an entire week! And the design to scoop it out helps keep butter off the sides so there's very little slipping onto the outside.I am so pleased! Even better, since it's clear I can keep it out and actually see there is butter in there, and exactly how much so I don't forget about it (thanks ADHD). Double even better, I thought my cat would simply knock it off the counter or bite into it like he has others, but no! IT'S PERFECT.In summary, it's easy to use, easy to clean, easy to see the butter, easy to open and close, and still cat proof!Thank you for letting me have buttered toast again!
