I bought this to seal the windshield in the zenith 750 heavy duty airplane I just finished. This was just the stuff to keep air and water from getting in. I think it’s going to work just fine. I used a razor blade to make the diameter of the roll about half to get it where it needed to go. It seems to have good adhesion to steel and plexiglass, and was very soft and flexible to male installation very easy. I’m flying the time off on the Zenith now. It was a lot of fun to build. Flying the time off means that the faa will let you fly it only 50 miles or so, or carry passengers until you get 20 or 40 hours of flying in, depending on the airplane

Used this stuff to fix my rear window on my '03 f150 and modify and seal my lights. It's been a year so far. No leaks and it's holding up great

1 Choose how long you want it. 2 take off the paper backing. 3 put both hands in a cup of water. 4 with your fingers, push and mold where you want it. 4 If it sticks to your fingers get your fingers wet again. It never dries out so you can correct your mistakes at any time. It could take a long time to do, especially if the job is overhead.

Like most people with this gen f150, my back window leaked. Worst part of this job was the tear down and scraping. Be careful, but trim piece is held in by window, so don’t worry if you break some of the trim mounts. I followed advice to freeze for an hour or so before using and it helped a lot. Note the inside of the roll is flattened more. Don’t over tighten the bolts in install! Squishing roll too much will invite another leak down the road. I got it firm and then watched for leaks. (None) I waited a month before making sure they were all evenly tightened again.

seems to perfectly match the BMW sound and vapor barrier sticky goo for my 2004 325i door. i haven't done the actual swap yet, but looks and feels the same. its hard to figure out what this stuff is called in the first place.
