Replacement Steps of C-144KT-807 Complete Wall Hydrant Repair Kit
Stem Repair
- Turn off water source.
- Remove screw and handle.
- Remove valve stem cap.
- Remove stem by unthreading turning counter clockwise.
- Replace this 3 items.
- Reassemble the hydrant.
Vacuum Breaker Repair
- Turn off water.
- Remove old cap by lifting up and off with flat head screwdriver.
- Unthread bonnet.
- Remove old parts.
- Reassemble new parts and thread in bonnet.
- Replace cap.
Stem Packing Repair
- Turn off water.
- Remove screw and handle.
- Remove valve stem cap.
- Replace this 4 items.
- Reassemble the hydrant.

Good kit to restore faucet back to better than new condition. The vacuum release cap is metal on this which is an improvement over the plastic one that was on the faucet.- Vance III

Bought 2 and both froze up and broke. Despite the fact that I had the spigot covered with ani-freeze sleeves. The other spigot that is 20+ years old still functions just fine and does fight freeze better than the one I bought a month ago. Total waste of money. I wish there was another brand to replace this poor quality product.

Worked like a charm! No more leaking through the stem seal. New handle was much needed, as the old one had to broken up to remove.

Hard to find locally so I am glad Amazon had this offered. Parts are direct fit and had no issues.

I had a hard time finding the correct vent cap for my frostless faucet. As described for a prier c144.

So-so quality. No packing nut included. Handle is cheapish. I used old handle.
