Unlike the manual drip method, BlanKade Faucet Freeze Protector is engineered to only release the minimal amount of water to PREVEN faucets from freezing.Its patented design allows BlanKade Faucet Freeze Protector to sense the internal water temperature, and releases WATER below 37°F/3°C. As the water temperature fluctuates, BlanKade Faucet Freeze Protector automatically regulates the drip rate. This ensures RELIABLE FAUCET FREEZE PROTEC TION releasing the least amount of water, even in the most EXTREME FREEZING CONDITIONS.
Tip：
1. Hand-tighten the BlanKade Faucet Freeze Protector to an outdoor faucet or hose.
2. Turn the water supply valve to a fully open position. A minimum of 10 PSI water pressure is required.
3. Install the BlanKade in a horizontal or vertical position. In the vertical position, the small brass end should be at the bottom.BlanKade Faucet Freeze Protector should NOT be installed with the small brass end pointed upward.
4. If placing on a hose (150 feet or less) - Keep the BlanKade off the ground. This will ensure the BlanKade Faucet Freeze Protector only monitors the temperoture of the water in the hose.

Works like expected, allows water to flow when temp gets below freezing. Good product and keeps water from freezing in my pipes. Would definitely recommend.

Does well at making sure the pipes are dripping when it is cold and are not dripping when it is not. Great design. Highly recommend.

We live on the gulf coast with PVC & CPVC piping. These devices did their job and preventing busted pipes during our recent freeze. I did not have to continually check through the night to make sure the drip rate was adequate as temperatures dropped. Product works well and read through the instructions to know what to expect and how the product operates.

These work flawlessly and keep your pipes from freezing up. I highly recommend these. We had temperatures down to 5° and had no issues. One was even enclosed in ice and still working!

Bought these because they were cheaper than another set I had bought a couple years ago. I should have stuck with the other brand Freeze Misers, they work great. These didn’t work as advertised, I checked on them when the temperatures were around 25 and neither were dripping. These didn’t two Freeze Misers stated dripping right at 37 and kept on going. I returned these and will buy two additional Freeze Misers.

We had temps dropping into the teens constantly for several days which is unusual for our area. We bought one of these for every exterior faucet we have. (We have many on our farm land.) It saved us having to constantly run water for days from all those faucets which creates a huge mess. I was skeptical but these gadgets really work. We didn’t have puddles of water and ice from running all that water. They drip water when the water reaches a certain temp which prevents freezing.I wish we had gotten them years ago.

I have been using another more expensive brand of these for four winters now. One had gone bad and I needed a replacement. I found these for half the price and they have worked just as advertised. I always test them before the winter season by sitting them in the freezer for 30 minutes then placing them on the outdoor faucet while opening the faucet fully. If working properly the water will run full blast through them for a minute or two then shutoff the water, if it is warmer than 37 degrees.. They work perfectly and exactly as the more expensive brand at half the price. They appear nearly identical. When the temp got down to about 30 degrees I also checked them and they were dripping ever so slightly as they should when the temperature goes below 37 degrees. There was a small pile of ice on the ground below them when I checked the next morning. Time will tell how many winter seasons they last, but initially I’m very satisfied.

The order arrived and the installation was easy, in the outdoor faucet, I turned off the faucet, then screwed this on, and then turned the faucet back on. I don't see leaks. It can also work normally in winter, solving the freezing problem. Very useful, very good, this is a high quality product, very good design.
