I have purchased this type of lock in the past to replace various RV locks and found the the lock had a different type of connection (round) for the plates and was not able to use my existing plate. These have a square connector for the plate which is what I most commonly encounter so even if the included plates don't match up to where I need it I can still use my existing plate.They seem well made and are easy to install.

I think they are a nice option to use instead of using a padlock. I have an ATV with custom wood storage box, and this look nicer to use. I would put a small flap to cover the keyhole and limit rain going inside, but else it look good.You need to figure out how you will lock it in the inside of the box. They provide 3 different locking adaptor, but you need to figure out yourself how they will be used. I personally really happy they included the hook one, which is how I will be using it for my ATV storage.

This Pertinel Cabinet Keyed Lock 3 Piece Set will be used to lock the lower liquor cupboard on the bar. It will keep the toddler and the teenagers out. Each is separately packaged. All 3 keys work well. The only issue is that one one piece of one set was rusted. Currently reasonably priced at $18.51 for 3 lock sets.
