I rarely use it, but in the occasions that I want to leave my helmet on my passenger backrest, it does the job. I just run the cable through the D-ring.The cable is quite thin and the lock isn't very sturdy, so really it is just to make it inconvenient enough for a would-be thief that they look for an easier target.Cheap and cheerful, does the job.

The box contained 1 - Mizzuco gable gun lock with 3 spare keys and instructions. I like this is a basic and simple lock to operate and it makes someone go through some effort to get around. The did not like how the cable will wiggle a little when locked inside the locking mechanism making it feel weak, and the keys are sloppy inside the lock when turning making it feel cheap. However, I tried smacking the locking mechanism at different angles attempting to get it to open without the key, but it stayed locked. This 8 1/2-inch lock will fit a lot of guns. I am somewhat satisfied with this product.

These are suitable locks, and I have used them on all my firearms without issue. There is no fuss around whether you're using it on a pistol, long rifle, or shotgun; these locks protect the gun and keep it safe when not in your e. I wish the same key could open all these locks. There are three identical keys for each lock, but when you have to buy multiple firearms, it gets confusing when you take various guns with the same look. The ability to tell the locks apart or label the keys would make it much more manageable.The looks are strong, and the cable lock is coated, which fits most pistols, handguns, rifles, and shotguns (confirmed). The durable material and rubber pad guard protect the gun from damage. The lock is still easy to handle in a cold or wet environment. The locks are more than functional; I wish I could get the benefits I described.

These simple cable locks are easy to use and disable pistols and some rifles and shotguns from being able to load a round/shell into the chamber and fire it.Simple key operation with the lock. The plastic sheathing protects the finish of the firearm from being scratched by the cable, which is good. Not overly tough to defeat, this cable lock offers the bare minimum protection against the honest or rushed from being able to access a live firearm. Given time and tools, this wouldn't be difficult to defeat, like most other inexpensive trigger or cable locks.Still, being a responsible gun owner is important and this s a step in the right direction.

I never stopped to think how long a typical pistol cable lock need to be. It turns out that it is more than 8.5 inches. The description says "compatible with most pistols, handguns, rifles, shotguns, etc, but not all." and shows pictures of full sized semi-automatics, but it is a few inches too short to fit.The lock mechanism is also not very secure feeling and sometimes gets stuck and does not allow you to insert the cable end without juggling the key back and forth.You may be able to use this as a very inexpensive what to lock a revolver through the cylinder, but it will not be very secure.I cannot use it on most guns and do not trust it to keep a gun secure.

These will work for some smaller setups, but it's worth noting that they won't be long enough for all setups. So you should check your measurements to ensure compatibility. It's a decent enough simple setup. Nice that it comes with 3 locks and 3 sets of keys. These are adequate for my needs, but need to note the limitations to ensure they suit yours. They're handy little locks for other use cases too. Toolbox / cabinet etc.Likes:- Comes with 3 locks, each with their own keys.- Adequate size for locking some triggers. But NOT ALL. (Check your measurements).- Can be handy for other use cases too.Dislikes:- Thin / basic.- Not suitable for all trigger applications, as it will not be long enough for some setups. Check compatibility.
